K&N Cleaning...

I've had my K&N is about a year now & still never cleaned it...

Surely its due a clean now? Any stuff u can use from home instead of buyin the proper cleaning stuff? or best buying the cleaner?(im skint at the mo... lol)

you can clean it yourself that aint a problem BUT u need the proper kit to "re-impregnate" the filter

basically the filter wont catch anything

and you need to give it a good dousing of this re-impregnation agent and its like a thin film / oil which stops the finnest particles.
