A reg SR

I have decided I am not going to get time to restore my A reg SR so I am reluctantly putting it up for sale.
Its a very very solid shell(The reason I bought it) which appears to have been waxoyled from new but it needs tidying & rebuilding.
The car is currently stripped but original engine & interior are all present.
Its had 2 previous owners, has some history inc the original service booklet & has covered approx 80k miles.

I am after £500 for it.

I also have some new parts for the resto which can be bought by seperate negotiation.

Without the parts the SR is of no use to me if I keep it.

Also, new doors have now been sold seperately but I went and had a look at the car last week and the originals look really solid. In fact the whole shell is better than I remember!

Pair of front wings, arch repair panels, poss battery tray & paint. Will also need bumpers.

Hi,

I am looking for a 1.3 sr to restore as a project as I had one for my first car. What would be the minimum you would take for it, I need to factor in the petrol to pick up as I'm from Essex.

Minimum would be £500, its a bargain at that price and worth more in bits!
Only got pics that are on the first page as its now stored away in a lock up.

Yeah, its only 10 mins away John.
I would prefer not to break it, that would be another early SR going to the crusher. I would like to see it back on the road, the shell is too good to scrap.

Yes it is complete apart from the bumpers & front wings. Engine and interior are present but not currently fitted

Only glass out is the rear quarters and boot glass which takes about 30 mins to refit.
