Anyone have a decent diagram of what goes where, I have a few extra pipes and unattached connections around! I took a couple pictures of the engine before i took it apart to help with all of this but none of them actually show the piping clearly, i know exactly where the exhaust manifold goes now though :tard:

This bit obviously goes into... the bit I've lost a picture of, connects to inlet before and after TB and has a loom plug on it, but where does it bolt up to? as I can't seem to find 2 holes that look right around that area.

At the back of the engine is this:

Which goes into this:

Which goes into bottom of radiator and header tank, but where else? The heater matrix pipes I have don't seem to line up right with that

Which are:

These.

And I also have:

This which has been cut, Does this go into the large solid pipe?

One of these spare, top is breather, bottom seems to be a connection for the water system which is just cast into the TB?

On the TB they will be water, One in one out ofc.

On the other pipes there should be a ICV iirc. One in one side, out the other.

On the back do you mean the black pipe coming out of the water pump?
One will be header tank of course, 2nd will be matrix you may find it dosnt look right untill its in the car.

I think the T-piece is for the TB warming thing.

Apart from that im not much use lol

TB warming thing? you mean the T goes onto the 1 in 1 out water thing on TB? Tried that but didn't seem to fit, theres nowhere apparent for the other ends of the pipe to end up.

It being an ICV makes sense now actually, as the throttle closes completely I can see it's 1 in 1 out but not where the ICV bolts to.

I'll try and do matrix when it's on the car if that's easier, thought it would e easier out though tbh.

The cut pipes etc still confusing though!

Il help with what i can. The TB has a warming bit (well thats what i was told it was) by the looks of it its similar to my 16v. Mine are 1 onto the matrix pipe and the other goes to the header tank, dont know how its done on a e16 tho :s Im presuming it must T into somwhere.

Thats preety much all i can help on.

It looks like this is blocked off on mine, might have to PM paul, but I can see why he'd do it, I mean why the hell warm inlet charge, makes no sense at all.
