What colour is this?

I've been approached to help a woman find a Nova SR in this colour for her husbands 40th birthday!! To me it's an impossible task, finding an early SR is a task in itself, never mind a rare colour as well!!

She tells me it was called Monaco Blue, and it was a special order! Is it the same colour as novabikecarbed's one?

I was just about to mention his before I read that bit... looks like it... pitty there isn't a way to find out how many types of that colour there was, if there was only one then it would be the same as his...if that makes sense.

Maybe worth gettin his paint code and somehow finding out if its linked with 'monaco blue'. Anybody got any old SR brochures with spec or upgrades?

p.s. razorjack...is Lazer Blue not the light blue colour that some GTE's came in? I may be wrong.

Yeah Lazer Blue is the kinda sky blue metallic GTE's (& SR's) came in.

Looking at that pic, it actually looks quite blue. I thought it was a paler, more grey colour.

No it's not the same as mine as mine is orient blue.

That to me looks more like the green one off the front of the Haynes manuals. Merit green???

Just thinking - Monaco Blue is the colour a lot of the Manta Exclusives came in, not a colour I've ever seen a Nova in!!

i agree there was a 1.2 in that green for sale round here a while back but i cant say i have seen a sr in it!!
