same ol same ol problem, i cant get this cheapo head unit out!

its got the usual 4 holes, 2 on either side, any helpfull hints or tips lads?

its doing my head in!

alright ive even been to halfrauds and begrudingly bought the u shaped levers and even they arent working!!

any ideas?

drive to your local YMCA! sure they be more than happy to yank it you out ;)

if its the 4 pins! we used long thin nails before to get them out sum time them halfrauds release keys dont reach!

Junior hack saw blades slid in, or, take the dash covers off, so you can reach in any prise them back!

Or pay a garage to do it:thumb:

or use a hammer lol only joking but normally use 4 thin screwdrivers and yank it out

I cut a wire coat hanger up and pulled out out using that

at work we use the stereo prongs, slip them in push outwards and pull, bobs your uncle

i presume your on about a standard vauxhall unit?

the cage had gone abit whack, which was why we were stuggling, i got it out though, brute force ftw lol
