Automatic to Manual??

It may be a silly question, but if i am doing a nova conversion, i can get hold of a engine but it is from a automatic, now would i be able to use that as i am not using the auto box? or am i right in thinking it will have no fly wheel??

what engine are you thinking of fitting???

to be honest, you could pick up a manual version of most of them quite easily and then you won't have to mess about with the different control stuff for the revs to kickdown etc.

I want to fit a 2.0 litre, but finding it hard to get hold of one, but i can get hold of a 1.8 auto! Just a little unsure of the kerfuffle!

are you after a 16v big block then??? or a 8v????

you'd be better off trying to find a complete car.

I know a lad with a 20XE (red top) motor in Hendon mate. He's the type that will never give a price although everything is for sale though :wtf:lol

I assume you need the conversion kit, shafts etc too?

Will get onto him this week and see what he has/says if you like.
