View Full Version : rolling back arches
hi all im just wondering how i would go about rolling my back arches i want to have a go at it my self as the arches are digging in to me wheels so i have had to put me steel wheels back on
ao let me no how to do it please
thanks andy
What size are wheels are you using and are they the correct offset? (et49)
Depending on the above it may be easier to just grind a little from the arch lip and touch it in If you only require a little clearance. Folding the lips isnt an easy job to do correctly and you may end up rippling the quarters to hell if your not skilled and know what your doing.

two ways mate, cut the lip with grider or hammer the lip up and flat agenst the inner arch but remember to seal them afterwards
puttin 15s on i was thinkin of just grinding th inner lip but i was thinkin of gettin a saw puttin a few slits along the lip and bend them up if that aint a gd way of doing it i will just grind them
You wouldnt need to slot it all.
so it will need a lot of slots in it then might just grind it

just grind about 6inches where the tyre is into arch
As said, theres defiantly no need to slot it. If they are 15's and not wider than 6.5j the chances are your not going to need to take much off at all. Best way would be to grind the lip back (dont go past the spot welds!)evenly all the way along the centre gently blending it a few inches from either end as you shouldnt have clearance issue's there. Then depending on what sort of a job you want it can be painted properly or just touched in. hope this helps.

ye will do that mate sounds easyer will get them rolled propperly one day coz i want it lower
Take it to a body shop and get them to flatten or roll them and then seal them up.
I wouldnt grind them.
will see how much it costs
