i have a whirring noise at 50 mph i know this is a worn out wheel bearing, but this keeps on happening, i have 15" alloys, and i understand these are breaking the bearings, So how do i stop this???? there must be an easy solution to this since alot of nova owners have biger wheels than me. help me i am sick of replacing bearings all the time

Are the hubs knackered and are you sure you are torqueing them up enough? If not has the car been pranged and bent so that the things don't run straight?

You might be overtightening them causing them to heat up and destroy themselves, they should last for a while. I usually back the nut off util the smallest amount of play can be felt, I have never had any problems.
