drying out tents

As there are going to be quite a few sodden tents coming back from sodden PVS at sodden Santa Sodden Pod,

I advise everyone to leave the tent outdoors until the weather dries up, then put the tent up in your back garden (or similar) and let the air dry it out. just leaving it in the dry in its bag will cause it to get full of mildew & then it is pretty much scrap.

any more helpful advice for the PV-Day veterans is welcome

Too right it was, when I left there was clay stuck on the inside on my alloys and as soon as I hit 50 it nearly shook the car apart - lucky i didn't go on the drag striplol

Same here i had to pull over and get out to scrape it all out as i couldnt pass 45 mph:tard:



My tent is in my boot and its soaked but im off tomorrow so its getting slung over the washing line to air/dry out as its been gorgeous sun here all weekend accoring to my rents:cry:

Be a practical scene kid and stick it on the roof rack with a hole in the bag and let it air through as you drive lol.

Sounds like a fun weekend. I pay to get that dirty. lol

We use the trailer as a tent for these advents, that way if you dont like your naighbours you can simply move.
Tented at my first PV next to a bunch of Northerners with corsa turbos playing music chanting and bouncing engines of the rev limiters till 5 am.
60mph blown dry home. not 80 never lol

I guess ours is getting mildew then! Danny's broke as he was taking it down so martin ran over it for fun and we left it there haha
