When you say dip, a loss of power? Standard engine? What mods have you got?

Break up of a lead, fuel related...could be a whole number of things TBH.

Fuel pressure regulator..

My XE did the same. If running a higher fuel pressure.. i cant stamp on the pedal, else it bogs down..

Otherwise pressure too low?

this sorted my problems though.

With a powercap, it should just move the power up the revs abit.. so from 3k, to 4k.. if its kept in the higher revs it wouldnt do it.

would it be worth trying a power boost valve?

get the fuel pressure checked 1st. Does your fuel pump prime?
