Hi ive been on here for a while. looking through alot of project threads, so im going to start my own, ok i know it wont be to everyones taste but meh lol. now the car started as a poverty spec 1.0 mk1, on 45045 miles, im 18 (yesterday) and been through all different stages with the car ive had it a year know so heres some pics...

took the spoiler off the old boot and as you can see it was raining.

ive done all the work on the car myself as i thought it would be the best way to learn.

Its a big shame youve done that to a mk1, but i suppose its better than it being rusty.

Oh by the way, do you think those wheels look good on that car ?

il have some 14" SR/GSI 3 spoke allys for swaps soon in black if your interested, those would look ok on my brothers chavved up corsa, lool

I think you should take the sunstrip off cos its a different colour. and take that sticker and mesh off the grille, and put the original mirrors on cos they look better and put the number plate back in the proper place and take the spoiler off and dont put the smooth boot on.

scrape all the bodge out of the back bumper before you ruin a good mk1 back bumper.

and then just slam it until its nearly touching the floor and put a set of black slabs or fanblades on it :thumb:

THEN.. you will have a nice car ;)

that reminds me of my old spoiler lol it dont look that bad actually colour coded was well unsure when i had it, just didnt like the fitment fiberglass stuff never fits perfect. think smooth boot will look good with it, are you upgrading bumpers and front end to gsi? think it would look better with what you done so far

cheers novaboy 1991 yeah im not going to make it how you want it mate. (the other person couldnt remember his username and cba to look 2bh) yeah theres a couple bits in the arches very light though and in the battery tray. im trying to go for somthing different, rather than speedlines, not saying i dont like that look, cause i do but theres too many now days as i know thats the look everyones going for. but cheers for all the comments weather you like the car or not, btw the standard bumpers are ****

ooh and im 18 its my chance to make my first mistakes i probably will look back at it and think wtf did i do to that nova i used to have, as a few people on here have said before there first nova was "chavy" yeah cheers pillar should suit a smoothed boot, yeah will be getting different bumpers but i ran out of money for this week lol

Yeah i do understand why not everyone likes it or some bits, the wheels were a cheap buy off a mate cause i was'nt working at the time, and yeah pretty much doing it all my self lol, not sure if il give the windows a go, but sure il give the front door ones a go :) just want to practise body work and everything like that before i start a mechanics course

but if i told you i think the standard novas look **** it wouldnt bother you would it, as its just what i think. so thats the same with me. it will go well together i just dont have a hugeee bank account to get everything at once, its slowly bit by bit

Keep going with it as it's not looking too bad IMO. It's always going to be the case that people dont like other peoples ideas but thats why there are forums such as this. It would be a tedious site if we all had the same.

alright mate yeah skirts are ok needed trimming, just about to spray them along with my rear bumper, got quite bit done like slamming the front and a new bonnet will add some pictures later even if SOME people dont like it paha :tard: :tard: :tard: :tard: ..
