Thought this would be worth a go on here as im sure someone will have an idea.

Ive got a 1.7 diesel corsa which ive fitted a 1.7 turbo diesel cavalier engine to, got the engine and gearbox from the cavalier sat in place today, went to fit the driveshafts and the inners are too small:mad: So i decided to swap to the corsa 1.7 diesel gearbox but then realised there different, so what driveshafts or what inner cv's do i need? Im sure the gearbox is an F18.

I may be wrong but 22Spline shafts and mk2 cav 1600 inner CVs.

Isnt that what you need to XE a nova? Or is it the same for a corsa? I know GSi corsa shafts are different to normal ones.

Well im presuming the F18 is big block (Quick google seems to agree), so yes it would be the same.

Yea mate this conversion works in the same principal as the redtop conversion as its a big block engine so you will need t22 spline shafts and cav mk2 16 inners.:thumb:

f15 down wards takes small type cvs so it must be an f16 or upward take the boot of your inner cvs, and count the splines you may be lucky
