no u just need the single v belt types! or you can machine down a double v if needs be but the warp slightly somtimes!
Pot type is the big flywheel that the later xe's have.
Earlier ones have a lighter flat flywheel.
No xe's had single pullys AFAIK?
The early ones had double v pullys, hence you have to get the outer v machined off, mine cost £20 to have done. You could do it with a grinder if you're in a pikey mood lol
Grinder lol as if!!
Nice one for heads up chaps :D +repz for ya both!
Also, any idea how much nitrous an XE would handle? Ordering some jets this week, but not sure which size ones?
25-50 straight shot
or 100 through a controller
or 100 through a controller
Sounds good to me
my xe has a multi ribbed singe pulley?
my xe has a multi ribbed singe pulley?
In a nova? pics?
Ahh, the pulley will fit in the "mk2 astra estate, with dodgy details on the v5" With no probs whatsoever, however it won't in a nova. You need the twin pulley for the old twin v belt driven xe, and machine the outer pulley off, like whats's been said already.
Like so.

you can grind the multi-v pully in half and cut a belt in half like my mate did lol
