Sure thing!!!! In fact i think we should arrange a club night for all the vaux forum users, members who DJ will host the night and the rest just have to drink copious amounts of alcoholic beverages lol

Si, some time ago i managed to secure more finance (0% intrest :)) the turntables are bought 2nd hand. Next is a mac book i think?

Get the mac book and serato scratch pro mate! You won't need to carry your cd wallet anymore and using a laptop makes you look cool but you'll still also be using your decks! Time coded rocks.

Yer i have time coded cds in my folder for a club i do (house pc and portable HDD for my tunes, tbh im in love with there system(win and scratch live)

Looks like that will be my next purchase, want to make a desk support thingy like yours :P

The Simps

Don't mind making another support if you give me dimensions etc trouble is I can use power tools/welder etc while I've got my w@nkers wrist!

FUSION X16XE
05-06-09, 05:52 PM
That is a problem! I want to learn to weld anyways so i may use this as a little project as it dosnt have to be mega strong. How heavy is urs?

The Simps
05-06-09, 05:57 PM
HEAVY! lol

You'd be suprised how much weight there is and when you start hitting play etc.

Yer thats true! Think i may make one like yours (just to hold 2x CDJ400 and small laptop) but try keep it as light as pos and with a clamp instead of hight adjustable base?

The Simps

Some set up up have there

What are the cdj400s like? Was thinking of getting a set for use at home. Currently have 2x cdj1000s, but only mk2s (for now) and a djm 800 mixer, which i share with a friend. So im lucky to have the 2 days a week.

400s have been on my mind for a while now.

Some pics of my shared set up

Nice man, i tend to use the 400s for sampling or something i want to loop on as its allot easier than doing it on the 1000's (i find) but apart from that there spot on, they have the same software as the 1000s mk3s i believe...??

Wilson are your up-faders on the mixer quite stiff? Mine are really hard to move compared to the ones on my DJM400.

ow and dude get some better headphones lol

Never had a problem with mine, but then the mixer is only 2 months old, just uprated from a 600.

Ah the Behringers are only a lend of a friend. Some **** broke my Senheiser 25s at a after party, and decided not to own up :(
