Fitting Twin 40s

Hi all, how easy or hard is it to fit twin 40s to a nova 1.4 sr? i do want to attempt this myself or should i leave it to a mechanic? cheers rob

It's not too hard..... especially if I can do it!

Before I did mine I spent a long time reading up on everything I could find using the search, I'd do that and then ask specific questions before you start if you're still unsure.

My advice would be to buy a second hand pair, off a 1.4sr, complete and running, then all you need to do is bolt them on, and set the up slightly!

Unbolt manifold, replace alternator bracket, bolt new manifold on, top up and bleed the coolant. Get it running something like and then off you go for a rolling road set-up.

Pretty simple job really.
