View Full Version : Ax wiper motor fittting.

Got the motor/linkage can see about bolting it on, but what do you guys do about the angle the spindle sits at? CAnt use the plastic shaped bits from the nova stuff as its too long...

Very similar (if not the same?) but no plastic bit

i fitted mine without the plastic nova parts and i had to bend the wiper

I'll have to fit it with out the plastic bits then i guess.
Can you use the ax motor? or desnt it need to be the nova one?

i used the nova motor benn just cos i had one just extended the wiring to the plug

just watch how you fit the motor the first time i fitted it i could not get the plug in so i had to take it all out and rotate the motor

the nova motor needs to point towards the engine iirc, i'm doing mine tonight but mine is off a zx i think.

thats it ^^^ and the earth is the bolt that goes through to hold it in place

I used the ZX one and made up a chunky bracket so I didn't have to bolt it to the grille bit. I used a wiper arm from a Storm conversion kit on mine. I also used the plastic bits to make it look a little nicer...

Being a utter c**t at the mo but think i have it sorted.
Its been hitting the fan motor.

very nice simps, nice bit off fabrication work there very big swipe too, i was looking at the storm wiper too might get it at a later date, more flush. The link arm is hitting the heater motor, yeah i think they are tricky to position but it's a trial and error thing. Sure you will get it sorted ben.
