bought a 2ltr 8v motor for £100 out of the paper, complete with all wiring etc, now how much work is involved in doing the conversion? i.e. mounting and shafts etc?

Same as a 16v. Shafts (22 spine or custom), Mount kit, alternator clearance etc

looks like i'll have to go and buy one then, what sirt of top end should a normal red top give? also what box is best?

f20 box mate and it depends on what wheels your running to the top end really as it varies

No idea on top end, i know the F20s are geared for about 140mph though.

And yer, F20 would problery be best.
