nova heater matrix

Anyone run there nova c20xe without a heater matrix if so does it stay cool ok.

Any engine should do tbh. Its not a main cooling rad.

i cant figure out why mine gets hot do you know the correct way to pipe it up as i have no matrix and on carbs i only have 4 pipes the black plastic 1 running from block to bottom rad hose the top stat hose to top rad hose the top expansion hose (small one) to top of rad and bottom expansion hose to the cylinder head the two small outlets on the plastic pipe i have linked is this correct?
