I have managed to stop most rattling parts of my car caused by my sub, except the numberplate. The plate is in the normal position and is attached with sticky pads to the standard metal plates on the hatch. It vibrates quite badly and want to stop this. I have tried stuffing the hatch with sound-proofing, but this is not sufficient. Any other suggestions?

Cheers lads :D

Use stick pads in more places to stick it on so that there is little room for any of it to vibrate and tap against the metal.

Come on Alex... thought you would have thought of that one for youself mate.

tried it. Its the metal plates against the hatch that are vibrating I think. And yes they are tightened :x

put a bassy tune on, do up all the windows of your car and then close all the doors. It is then easy to see where rattles come from.
