Hi,

I have just brought an apex suspension kit just wondering if anybody has any feedback on it at all, as in, is it any good? Does it handle ok? Is the ride qaulity good? Those sort of things, any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks :thumb:

I have apex on my saloon but 60mm drop, ride is firm but with the pot holes in reading its pretty harsh if you hit one.

I had an Apex -40mm kit on my 5 door, the type with red struts. I found it to be very good in 2 years and 20,000 odd miles of being well used. Never bottomed out and was perfect for road use. I imagine you'd find the limits of it on track.

yeah thats it red struts, sounds quite good then. Yeah what would't you find the limit for on a track.

Depends on the power/weight/what tyres are on the car! If you needed a little more cornering ability at the expense of ride quality, get a polybush kit (80-95 shore). At least that way, if you ever decide to go the coilover route, you will be getting the best out of them.

You can read my mind, thats next on my list, just not sure which ones will be best tho, was going to get the ones of the bay, but heard bad things about them.

rally design for good quality cheap polybushes, they do all the important ones :thumb: Can even opt for the poly sport ones for a slightly softer ride

You have to order 2 to get 2 though, they split the packs. Check the "qty req'd" column on the site.

edit: just realised what you're reading, thats quantity required, not quantity supplied.

thats abit stupidly decieving, obviously the person who is buying them knows how many they need, and it also doesn't say each.
