random question but does anyone know what the size of the screw/bolt that goes in the centre cap is please is it 13mm ??

will be an M8 metric screw if the head is 13mm

i got mine from a engineering company and they done me a 1 off key

ha ha the company i work for. any engineering company should be able to do it.
i would make some for you but we have just sold all out tool shop and get all our fab work sent in

just go to a fixter place should be able to get the right size then just drill the head and make your own key out of a old football boot stud key

i have a spare key in the house but you live miles away and i am lazy so wouldnt send it ha ha ha ha ha ha

Have you tried Vauxhall themselves? Most cars uded the same bolts, like most of the Vectras.

Get a Cap Head Bolt and a washer (Hex Head, need an Alen Key to open it) I've used these and they work A1.

i just used 13mm m8s like sed but you have to grind a 13mm socket down to get them in properly so thay are hard to get out if you aint got the adapted tool any way if that makes sense
