changeing lock in fuel cap

is it possible to swap the lock from one fuel cap to another

i have two one is painted same colour as car but has no key
the other is a small mk1 item an looks odd

so can i swap a mk1 lock to a mk2 cap ?

Dont think so, think they are moulded in or something equally annoying, bought a lockset from Vauxhall a few months back & got a whole new fuel cap with it. So one would assume that its not possible, i dont think that a main dealer would give you a whole fuel cap if its possible to change the locking mech.
