Soooooo true. The amount of storries I hear bout HsBc is unreal. With all the money they have stole off their customers I'm surprised they had to borrow so much of the govement !!!

i didn't think they got into bother like the other banks, most of their investments were not in the usa.

I didn't but I know someone who claimed there charges back and had it paid into their Hsbc account. Then they locked the account and he is still trying to get the money off them to this day. This was about two years ago and for £2000 iirc !!!!!! DO NOT BANK WITH HSBC.

just about every bank has ripped someone off in the past.. I have banked with Natwest forever and ok have had a few problems with them, but nothing a polite chat didnt fix. But I know folks who have had a mare with them. Same goes for all others.

They are all a bunch of bastids and should be treated as such (all be it politely lol)

If they still have the cheque book & cash card, write loads of cheques upto the guarantee value and cash them upto the value of the balance. They have to pay them, woo ha ha ha!!!

Saw in the paper yesterday all this is due to them implementing a new upgraded computer system, apparently small transactions shouldnt have been affected but larger things that needed autorisation were rejected in some cases.

Me thinks the PR department are full of crap as much as their lending department!
