on a nova xe, when i first did the conversion, i didnt bother with the oil cooler, but no with the extra power im gonna be running im paranois about not having one, it will be running about 230ish bhp when its done ( im not gonna list everything you will see the parts in the projects section when i get them all back and am ready for the rebuild) cheers

i would run an oil cooler.ive just cooked ann xe with standard oil cooler.caned car for 2 hours and melted loads.get a good oil cooler and oil temp gauge.if your running 230bhp the cost of an oil cooler is worth it with the money you must have spent!!

agreed, does any one know of a good 'kit' for the power? i have nothing at the mo, no pipes cooler etc.

use a mocal one, dont go for a cheap ass cooler, may cause more problems in future.

please take a look at my rebuild thread, ill be postin pics later of all the stuff iv got so far, its better for you to see so you dont think im talkin out of my **** :) but i can assure you it doesnt involve a k&n and a 6" peco back box, after all im not looking for 500bhp ;)

k&n is 300bhp as we all knowlol
