Hello all, i'm advertising this car on behalf of my friend who purchased it around a month ago, his plan was to tidy it up a bit, fit a 1.6 16v and lower it on some speedlines, since then he has been given the opportunity of a job working in australia hence will not have the time to complete this, i would definetley buy this myself if i did not have my Nova project to get on with.
As the title says it is obviously a 1991 Astra Belmont, he purchased this car from the local salvage yard as a Insurance Category C write off, it had been stolen and Recovered. The damage to the car is to the Drivers door and ignition barrel/steering lock, the car starts and drives and has 81587 miles on the clock, the car is in absolutley excellent condition !!! there is very little corrosion at all, the back arches like most vauxhalls of this era are not in the best of condition (pictures below) the underside of the car looks absolutley mint and there is no evidence of welding what so ever.
As i said above one of his ideas was to fit a 1.6 16v into the car, he has already purchased this and it is available to buy with the car for a extra £150 (X16XE i belive) which was from a 1996 Astra Sport, it is complete with all Ancillaries, wiring loom and ECU etc... it has covered 72k miles, he paid £200 for it (with a receipt to prove) Anyhow enough writing, heres a few pictures for you to look at:
