Rev needle snapped?

Just put a c16xe into my nova and drove it last night for the first time and when we was revving it up to say 4k on the drive it worked but now after a few rev limiters, the needle goes up like normal but just goes straight back down to zero after with the engine still running. Any ideas?

OOookk, ya seem pretty sure on that one! check the feed from the coil to the back of the dash cos it looks to me like its a loose connection, that doesnt just happen without good reason!

Not sure just a thought really. Does though as nova guy says sound like the wire. Have you another set of clocks to try at all?

its possible that you may have disturbed something.
