ok, heres one to get you thinkin:

A fly is travelling towards a train, and hits the train face on, therefore going in the opposite direction again, stuck to the train. for the fly to have changed direction from one direction to the opposite direction, it must have been stationary at some point. it is not possible for two things to be touching each other and one to be moving and one to be stationary, so therefore if the fly had stopped and it was touching the train, the train must have stopped momentarily too. Therefore the fly stopped the train

Wotya reckon??

nope lol

edit:

if you stop time in any given situation then anything 'stops'

velocity cannot just switch direction, there must be a split second where it equals zero.

and in all ,time is an illusion created by our universe. a fly is a parasite over which we hav no control. a train maybe large but we still have control, therefore a power so great we cannot control is powerful enough to stop anything.

so the fly can stop the train.

I see what it is you are getting at - but you are wrong. :D

otherwise when i drive along in late summer in the evening and get a windscreen covered with flies that would mean i actually stopped 400 times.

The force created by the train hits the fly forewards, stopping the fly!
the stain doesnt stop just has an impact, its like wen u run up 2 a heavy box, run into it n shift it, ur still movin!
not a good example tho lol
