the guy wants £350 to put a sill on and patch another hole, plus adjust the handbrake. add the cost of the mot itself and thats over £400 for a test on a car i paid £92 for. luckily i have a good friend who reckons the sill can be patched (its only 3 small holes) and i can do the handbrake myself.

nope, its just the sills, as they are "within 30cm of suspension/seatbelts" i got him to put it on a ramp and show me where he'd failed it so i know when it gets done

You win at having a pointless MOT fail, all those are things you could have sorted out before the MOT. The emissions would probably be fine if you warm the engine up lol

lmao! anyway, after he showed me the damage (an excuse for me to get under the car properly!) he admitted that the rest of the car was nice and solid. i'm getting the welding done at a mates yard on saturday, he only wants some form of alcoholic liquid as payment, and it'll get rebooked for next tuesday. roll on PV!

i new about emmiossons but didnt know about numberplate light and the wiperblade is like 1cm tear :(
