Autocad came out in the 80's mate!
Good luck, I used to be a draughtsman.
What exactly does being a draughtsman involve? Just drawing plans etc? Done loads of work on AutoCAD recently doing floor plans, electrical plans etc. It's a cool bit of software, feel like killing myself sometimes after using it all day though!

Covers a wide range tbh mate, I used to design steel staircases, fancy stainless balustrades etc for feature office entrances/top end homes and then create detailed fabrication drawings for the guys in the fab shop to construct, was quite cool to see the objects you designed built up piece by piece in the shop over time then erected on site. Used to do steelwork etc but that was pretty boring
