indeed i have an interview this morning

IM SO EXCITED

working as a junior draughtsman/ engineer working with autocad

i think its kinda similar to what Shaun Donnell does.

its at 9 so i will come back after college and say how its going:D:D:D:D

Fingers crossed :D Thats what I was going to do when I left school (16 years ago) but autocad wasn't about so everything was drawn by hand.

EDIT: I think Shaun is now a driving instuctor.

bastids the lot of ya.

the interview went ok i think, the two interviewers went out for a talk and the bloke said he's alright isnt he.

suppose its better then hearing ****ing usless lol

he said they will be calling people back for second interviews.

so i hope to hear something soon

Autocad came out in the 80's mate!

What exactly does being a draughtsman involve? Just drawing plans etc? Done loads of work on AutoCAD recently doing floor plans, electrical plans etc. It's a cool bit of software, feel like killing myself sometimes after using it all day though!

Covers a wide range tbh mate, I used to design steel staircases, fancy stainless balustrades etc for feature office entrances/top end homes and then create detailed fabrication drawings for the guys in the fab shop to construct, was quite cool to see the objects you designed built up piece by piece in the shop over time then erected on site. Used to do steelwork etc but that was pretty boring
