try specialist brokers like Brentacre who can do you a power limit policy (mod the car as you like so long as it doesnt go over a certain BHP) or have you tried Adrian Flux/HIC?

Limitations of the scheme imposed by Sky Insurance are that all policy holders must be at least 19 years of age and have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years. For comprehensive insurance we need you to be over 21

i suppose the quote im getting is reasonable,

because at the moment, from egg, id be on a provisional licence, but when i get a full licence it doesnt change,

however, ive just done a quote from direct lline,

and results are,

£1,818.60 <-- Third party fire an theft
£1,573.95 <-- Fully comprehensive

Being nearly 27 i was not aware of these limitations. :)

Have you done a quote through confused to get a rough idea? Tried HIC?

Reply from brentwood, i also pointed out a spelling mistake on their site, PMSL

Sorry mate but we cant do anything until your 19 with a full licence for 1 year. Thanks for the spelling & I will advise the company that handles the site
