well standard glass is 4.5mm ish and ive got 6mm ply in at the mo which is ubber ubber tight.

only reason i ask is im tight and 3 mm is a fiver cheaper than 4mm lol

4mm is the minimum allowed for club level MSA-sanctioned motorsport events.

But places like 'Plastics 4 Performance' do offer a 3mm option if you aren't going to race/rally.

So 3mm should be OK.

Wouldn't you be better off with 4mm, due to the size of the windows! 3mm might get a bit floppy!

I made mine from 3mm, there were abit wobbly, i'd use 3mm on the rears again but would go for 4mm on the fronts.

yeah i know that bit, but where is he sourcing sheet of plastic, polycarb from :thumb:

any polycarb sheeting company should sort you out.

£50 sheet supplied me with enough to do 3 sets of windows for a Nova :D

don't worry about using 3mm. i have that in mine with 4mm fronts. it will be fine
