i picked up my nova last nyt its a g reg mk1 think its 88'
well the mother tryed ringin the insurance askin too see if we can swap the policy to the mk1 forn the mk2 and they said no beacuse its over 20yrs old so they cant insurance been doin some reasearch and this is beacause its over 20yrs old its classed as a classic car ..... i have tried other companys but its over £1700

so what to do next sell or try insure :confused:

I was/am with quinn untill tonight! Its being cancelled!

I got a quote for £800 provisional, then £1600 when passed, so I took them up on it, When I passed I rang them up, and they said it was going up to £4600!

Because its 20 years old, and Im a high risk driver?

They have never seen me drive!

i have a 1984 1.0 l nova witch makes it 25 years old i have typed it in to confused.com and lowest quote was £239 from kwickfit plus i got a free mot worth £44.99 :p didnt think age of the car made i diffance:confused:
