no point in getting them powdercoated, a new bottom arm with ball joint is £12..:thumb: unless yours are plated that is..?

I've done them a few times! Mine have all pushed out with a large screwdriver!

geez man are you the hulk? i had to use a press to get the last set of GM bushes out!

are you sure your not talking about after market bushes which come in 3 parts, the 2 rubber bits and the metal part in the middle? they indeed do push out with screw drivers?

I wonder if there is a how to in the articles section lol

old shagged bushes can if you are lucky, push out essentially by hand. but can also be pigs. Grinder to wip off the flange from one end and push out FTW

Nope i'm on about the soft rubber, standard bushes that come in all novas. Clamp arm in vice, plenty of maintanence spray, large socket on 1/2 inch extenstion, and push. No i'm not the hulk lol

i do tend to take them out when they are fine, just to replace with very harsh noisy harder versions, just to remind me my car really is not ideal for the road :) lol

I'd stay with either the powerflex ones, or the ones from raldes.

My old ones flew across my cousins workshop with just one hit from a hammer, after heating the arms to a nice orange with the oxy-acetelyne torch, lol. I used the red ones that just nova's used to do, firmer but not harsh.
