xe to gsi fuel pump

does anyone know where the live from the ecu should be connected to the nova ie this wire:

i think it goes to the fuel pump live wire which goes through the boot floor or is there another way of doing this? i thought i could connect it to this wire but it appears to do nothing,

your xe loom will need a permanent live ( thick red )for the ecu wich goes direct to the battrey, and a switched live to power it up ( thin wire next to the dizzy and coil amp - sumtimes green , sumtimes black ).
and the thick red/blue is fuel pump live. you need to either match it to the existing nova fuel pump wire or run it direct to the actual pump itself it can be done both ways.
