110max lol
What you reckon, worth the £650 asking price?
i'd say 120, more with solid lifters........
why didn't you keep the old 1600 engine???

No reason really just wanted rid off everything but ive come across the aforementioned engine, and just happen to have a) a sheet slow corsa work hack & b) a Nova shell.
How cheap are FK coilovers these days aswell :D shocking isnt it!!!
lmao cant stay away lol
Tell me about it. My hands are to clean & un battered for my liking.....
i'd agree with baxter tbh with 110-115 absolute max. (obviously it could be whatever you wanted if you know the r/r operator well lol lol)
To list the engine properly you have a 1300 engine with head, 280 cam and forties.
The rest of the twaddle is for the chavs when you try to sell it :thumb:

Mmmm, for the price thats just not enough power for me TBH.
The OP is literally a copy & paste of the add Dan lol so make what you will of that lol

Could have a xe on 45s for that
And i agree with the power guesses, Keith R's big big spec 1400 made about 119 iirc......

My thoughts exactly just a little different.....
I'll guess 115 - 120 if set up properly...Ithink keiths made 120 ATF but it was on solid lifters iirc.
Well worth 650 anyway, if its all guarantee'd to be there and in good working order.
You'd find it very hard to build it for that IMO.

I wouldnt :thumb:

Fair enough Mike, I'm just going on what price I would usually see that sorta stuff going for 2nd hand. Rough, rough idea:
Blydenstein Head - £Not sure, £180?
Rally cam - £90
Vernier - £40
40's/inlet/linkage - £260
4 branch - £50
System - £70
Thats £690 before consumables such as headgasket, inlet gasket, assembly lube, headbolts etc. Then theres setting up.
Of course people have different methods of doing things and perhaps ways of getting/findong parts cheaper.
Most importantly... I may be far off with some of my price estimates!!

and it was a 1400.
but 120 is about right for that level of 1300 imho.
for £650.... well you could break it for more.
eg £250 for the carbs
£50-100 for the manifold + linkage
£250 for the head ?
cam + lifters - £100ish
bottom end £100 if its been worked
or am I in the wrong land lol

Thats not a bad idea actually.....
Altho i know for a fact i could build a similiar spec motor for less tho.
