Hi guys was wondering what rad people used on the 2.0 LET in a Nova, I have just bought one and it looks like a standard rad, will that be ok when I track it.

used nova gte/gsi last one i did and ran fine, can get sum nice twin core alloy ones cheapish now if you look around. you can tell if its a standard rad cos it will have longer plastic legs on the bottom.

Will I need one or two fans, will the rad fit without any modification?:thumb:

I would use nothing other than oem rad which is made by valeo iirc a cool running stat and a slim line fan, bottle of water wetter helps to keep temps down a lower temp fan switch helps.

me and my mate have had and run many. (him mor ethan me) and theyve had either standard corsa or nova rads or gsi rads in them. anything from a 1.2 to a gsi nothing more. theyve all been fine and one was phase 3. im actually looking for a much smaller rad for my xe. thinking of using one from an old merc cos there very small and im hoping have the fittings for the pipes. all you need is enough to keep it from overheating. any extra is dead weight. granted its not gonna make a great difference but if you make savings everywhere like this it all adds up.

also before yas all jump down my neck. the rad does weigh next to nothing but the water in it is heavy!
