This video, and the 'related' on youtube, and the fact i'm a bit big for a bmx frame (6'1 :tard: I could step on dars head!) has had me thinking about swapping my bmx in for a trials of some sort lol

Mate sent me this video, and 20 mins later i bought a pashley frame and forks off ebay :D

Used to ride trials, then got sick of my mates wissing off with their massive chain rings so gave it up :(

Got a Kona chute build up for dual/downhill at the min, my mrp chaindevice has seen a few walls/ledges when i get my trials head back on too lol

Currently have a Mirraco Blend 1, but never found it that easy to get on with, so looking at a trials style bike, only thing is I fancy a 24" and they're all around a grand each new :(

Wish i'd kept doing trials when I was younger, ive got a nirve htx at the mo, don't use it a whole lot but really considering of getting back into trials now!

That vid was wicked, nice combo of bmx and trials, cant beat a flair off a tree!

How cheap is cheap? I was after a cheap trials bike, ended up ebaying a nirve htx for £130, cable disc brakes, front sus, but as its a jump bike its got a low enough frame to be usable for trials. :)

MK999
26-05-09, 12:39 AM
quite possibly around the same price, this isn't a proper trials either, or at least not 'new generation' trials from what i understand, is around 7 years old or so as a design

Steve

I dunno depends on frame size as well, those megamo trials bikes are good becuase thye're really light but they've only got 20" wheels and the frame is tiny. Mines a 26" rim but suits me as i'm quite tall. Depends how serious you are about it, im just doing it for fun. Don't have the time to be properly devoted to it likes the pros are.

Well i bought the BMX to fark about on but it really is too small for me and just awkward, so i want to avoid 20inch but I like the BMX style riding of danny mac, so 24" would be perfect, but at 350 quid a pop at the cheapest second hand, it ruddy would be wouldn't lol

My old trials days were on a Montesa T15 pedal bike - How many of you remember them !!!!! - Were talking over 20 years ago !!!!
