Sorry mate, I'm not enitrely with it,
You mean the lock by the wheel, or on the door?

It's not any of your mates having a laugh, swapping keys etc

If It won't turn I'd have a really wild guess and say the tumblers (the things that know one key from another) have dropped, Meaning that it's scrap.

Please don't take that as an answer, It's 1:30 in the morning and I need sleep.

Cheers
Chris

Can you get your key in the lock but it just can't turn? If so, try and turn your steering wheel from left to right (as much as it will go with the lock on) and see if you can now turn the key - moving the steering wheel sometimes frees the key.

yes this is right u need to wiggle it a bit as u turn the key. if not ur buggered its gonna be a hammer+chisel job to get the barrel out and u need to key to get it out normaly

yeh as dicko says the key needs to be at position 2 to get the barrel out

if the steering is pressing against the lock (ie the rack is applying pressure on the lock) then u'll need to release the pressure (ie turn the wheel left to right) while trying to turn the key
