oh **** it wouldnt work unless you know the fella anyway! why dont yas have a blooody image thingy on here to upload piks??? its a fairly simple add on for the v bulletin carry on cos our lad done it in no time at all and he is the most idle man their is.

neg rep this man!!! why would you do it? rolling weight is a realy bad thing and should be avoided at all costs! i wouldn't even put v6's on a let. at the end of the day these brakes are made to stop a vehicle of a far greater weight which is the main factor in braking.
Yes but pulling up Quickly is a must.

little brakes for little cars. big ones for big cars. tis realy quite straight forward man. they'd all be big if it was actually any better cos it would cost less to manufacture one set for every car in production but they dont cos its silly. read about rolling weight and you'll find you where wasting fuel and slwing your car down.

yeah mine used to lock up once the sky went gray......... very almost wrote it off on a wet day with all 4 wheels locked up & doing 40. some berk deceided to pull over on the road then take a fcucking phone call.....

i run 1l brakes on my w12 mid engined nova and it stops on a darm, gets 100 miles to the gallon and my rolling weight is decreased so much it hardly touches the floor.

Locked mine up in the wet and dry, got round a corner to find people riding pushbikes 3 a breast on the apex. Its only my pass side that locks up tho odd, mayvbe its my tyres

id sooner waste a tea cup of fuel than stuff my car into a nova, mines been off the road over 6 years now and id hate to stuff it in a wall cos i couldnt stop cos i had weeny 1200spi brakes that melted at the first T junction

And tyres aren't gripping when they're sliding (so a set of brakes that stops the wheels dead will hinder stopping distance more than ones that progressively slow the wheels - all to a certain extent of course), but thats going more into tyre choice than brake setup.

if you can drive usually you have a good feel for how hard you brake! yes i realise we all bang em on to quick when a **** pulss out or something but its a nova not a BTCC car with a 20k magnesium gear box etc
surely if you are going quicker and can get to that speed quicker you need to stop quicker
in this case bigger is better!the factory brakes are for factory engines
do corsa VXR's have brakes from the 3cylinder corsa???
i doubt it, the diff is the manufacturer sets it up so it correct and safe as they have the budget the resources and the know how
calling this guy a tool is a bit harsh but he aint helping his own corner

a 1.0 car will stop quicker with bigger brakes thus it makes it quicker from A to B..

he seems to have gone v quiet - I upgraded my SR's brakes to ATE's and I swear to god it was the best decision I ever made - especially when I came round a corner the other week and was face to face with a stationary car!
I'm curious re the monestary bit though - was it proper monestary with the brown cloak and baldy bit on the head and why?
