gearbox fitments.

i was wondering if a astra 1.7td gearbox would fit on a 2.0 8v engine. my f16 broke and someone told me a 1.7 td box would fit.

its a f13 & it will fit with std nova shafts. some people reckon the 8v will kill it, some don't

smaller fly wheel is need i think and different clutch thats if you are running big block stuff and wanting to go down the f13 route

Isnt the td engine a big block? so it should fit on a 2.0?
