As long as you feed & water it, and keep it up to date with the latest in semi-automatic weaponry, Yes you can have one.

I might do just that, what sort of Nova do you have?
its a 1.2i Luxe+ 5 door, in white...totally standard atm till i get some cash.. i have a spoiler and a front bumper, which my brother promised to put on for me..and knowing my brother  , that will be sometime in the next 5 years lol.. :(

Sounds like a nice tidy motor,
Your into this modding thing then?
Exterior, Interior, Mechanical, Plans.......?
yeah, definately wanna modify it...the nova's really really plain..ive always been into the modified cars, just something ive grown up with
hmm..well..the front bumper, is an original GTE bumper, i think. and with the spoiler, these are the first plans...lowering, predator bumper on back, new mirrors..clear tailgate lights, single wiper conversion..de-lock, de-badge, remove boot lock..gte site skirts..new interior..total respray (not sure what colour) ..
thas so far..i havent been thinking about it for long.
any advice?

My advice? Kit it up like a Standard Black SR - with a blue stripe, lol
Erm,
Bascially do what you want to do, don't let anybody else influence you in your choices, it's your car.
Also try to do most/all of the work yourself (even Mechanical & Service), it will reduce costs and you will have a better understanding of your car.
Have you passed your test?
the blue strip? lol, that looks well mad..actually..worth a thought.. :)
do the mechanical parts myself? lol, i dont have a clue about any of that...my brother and dad'll help do that for me..
yeah i passed my test on november 1st, so i havent quite got the no claims bonus..so im keeping the engine small for a couple years, and working on the actual car first..

If your stuck for ideas for styling take a look in the feature cars, I think mine most standard car out of all of them.
I like the fact u sit back and let the men do all the work, You'll be liked by the girls on here.
let the men do all the work? of course, thats the best way! lol. i will give them regular cups of tea tho
i like a lot of the modifications in the features part..which is why im stuck for some of it. i want them ALL on my nova lol

Well I personally don't think Vaux did a bad job designing the Mk2 SR, I kept mine standard becasue whenever people see a modded Nova they tend to treat you differently, not letting you out etc.
Good luck with your plans anyways.
Why not post a Hello in Genral chat, let everyone know you've arrived?
I'll warn you about this member :wisewood:, goes by the name of wisewood, very dangerous
yeah the SR's are cute, but i cant quite afford the insurance for anything higher than a 1.2, soo
lol, thanks a lot, i'll keep an eye out

I know insurance is a bit of a pain, I was limited to 7000 miles.
When my car fell apart I'd done 5500 and still had 4 months to go!
?1000's for a piece of paper, a plastic card if your lucky. :x
yeah u're telling me..and the best part..im at college..totally incomeless
sooo..insurance is a massive problem, and when i start to modify, all hell'll break loose!!
bummer to hear about the mileage tho! if anyone did that to me, i'd be pretty miffed..

It's not a problem now, My car died 2 weeks ago, it's sat waiting for an injection modification.
Injection of cash :)
ooh damn...wanna shove some of that money my way?
Chris LR
01-02-03, 11:43 PM
Erm, Thats the other problem, it will be waiting for an injection fo a while.
I was made redundant 4 weeks ago. :(
:o things aint looking good for you, are they :|
Chris LR
01-02-03, 11:47 PM
They've looked better.
Although I'm in and out of other peoples cars at the moment, I just pay for fuel.
ooh its not so bad then..at least you have transport if you need it :)

Yeah, it could be worse.
So are you the girlracer type? Speeding and dodging camaras?
yeah, def
driving's no fun without a bit of excitement  there's not many camera's around here, so im lucky in that way, and why bother doing 30 mph in town when theres noone else about?!
my mates all think im obsessed with cars...just cause i talk about them all the time
Chris LR

102 in the inside lane of the M54 is probably the worst thing I've done.
We've got plenty of camaras here, I tend to do about 35-40, like most other folk.
:o 90 on a packed dual carriageway, so far has been as far as my motor goes...i can tell it aint at all fit for anything about 75 LOL
Chris LR
02-02-03, 12:13 AM
Don't forget that 100+ is automatic ban, lol
You've just got to go for it sometimes ain't ya?
if at first you don't succeed, try try again!!

Chris LR
02-02-03, 12:23 AM
Well If I'm a Landrover It won't matter what hits me, You in your 'evryday cars' can get out of my way.

Chris LR
