help is my car going to die?

i was just drivin home from work and as i went to pull away all lights came on dash like it had stalled but didnt then i felt decrease in power :( then drove bit more fine then happend again :( .

sorry for long post but does this sound anything major ofr could be that battery is just bit rundown coz of cold weather short journeys etc??????

Any recent repairs? How far away from standard is it?

very standard no engine mods as yet not even k&n

If it was high spec I'd guess wildly at a problem with ECU.

Lower down the spec I'd blame electrics, possibly dash as well.

lights only usually come on when engine stalls (oil etc) - could be that as you pulled away the clutch juddered and then engine almost died but you recovered it quickly enuff?

Check electrics (plugs, ht leads, dizzy cap etc) - its poossible electric fault - especially if loss of power.

What does the engfine sound like when it does it and what are you doinf just before?

Happens to mine when its cold and been sitting around for a while. also does it sometimes when i change down gear with high revs. I dunno wot
it is either but its a nova so i just get on with it. 8)

its seems to be ok now im think its coz of the coldweather and its had a lot of short jouneys recenctly so batterys prob bit run down.cheers 4 help guys
