Corsa C Engine change!! HELP !!

Hi, got a corsa C on a 2002 02 plate its a 1.2 16v non twinport engine.
Engine Code Z12XE
The engine is completly fooked and was wondering if a late corsa B X12XE engine would fit/work in the car.
Done 1 engine swap in the corsa C using the Agila engine and there were a few bits different but worked fine.

Anyone know?

Willl be a different loom & whatnot, probs different ECU too

Its to do with emmissions on the z12 I think.

Although engines are similar/identical the x12 as fitted to the late corsa b is euro 2 and z12 euro 3 (I think) or maybe euro 3 and euro 4

To do this I think ecu is different and prob some wiring otherwise the same

You could probably use an x12 but could cause MOT problems

You can tell an x12 against z12 because the later z12 has plastic rocker cover

if it will fit i know of a 1.2 16v x12xe with box, loom, ecu etc. for £75.

as kent14sr says think there will be loom issues myself but may be wrong.
