Now I am sadly stripping it and this is its present state with not much left on..

Not many bits left now, Its very depressing seeing it broken, especially all the work i put into it. I will hopefully be back next year with a nice sri, so fingers crossed.

Its always a shame to see another nova stripped and sold off in pieces but at least the memory of your car will live in around the country as part of various other projects... who knows, maybe one day your flushed tailgate will be featured in a mag... :D

look on the bright side mate, you never know.

M8 - I'm gutted for ya! How did it happen? Why not fix it?

Saw the pics on the ablum and thought you were rebuilding it. Also saw bits on ebay but didnt realise it was your mota - me m8 was gonna bid for the flushed tailgate and he aint even got a nova!

i won the rear bumper and the clear lights and i'll post pics of my car when the bumper is sprayed and they're both fitted soon. it's nasty sh1t what happened to your car, but at least the non-damaged parts will end up being admired on other novas.

Yo Anton, sorry bout wot happened to ur car mate!

Sad to see a good nova just end its life like dat :cry:

One fing i gotta find out from you is how you did da lighting for your 6 clocks on ur dash! Looks amazing and I want in :D

I badly gotta have dat sorta lightin rather den dat poor MK1 6 dial lighting i currently got!

Any help would be much appreciated :lol:

I got the lights from 5 quid on ebay. I think halfords do them for about 15 quid.

They plug into the fag lighter then are run up behind the dash.

If you look at the pics carefully you can see the led's pointing at the dials.

And thats all there is 2 it, they just point and shine at the dials.

Works best with white dials.

Damn shame to see another nova off the road! it looked pretty clean too....ahhh the dying breed of nova's, brings tears to me eyes! did you go up the arse of some one?? are you sticking with another nova?
