View Full Version : c20xe injector 1,2,3 not workin

after putting a early dizzy c20xe into my nova was having loads of trouble getting a spark. finally got a spark now im not getting injector 1,2,3 to squirt. injector 4 is working fine. i have swaped the injectors round in the rail and its always number 4 that squirts. i have put a + and - to both pins on all injectors and they open fine. the blue/ted trace on the loom box wiring is getting power on all four injectors. the signal wires are not getting a signal. any ideas anyone. this car is starting to p**s me off. help or ideas would be appreciated.

have you got all the 3 earths from loom onto injector rail?

no there is three earths, one side has two and the other side has one :D

ohhhhh yes!! i rmember now lol the left hand as your looking at it has 1 and the right hand 2?

yes mate thats correct, and adam if you think its the loom at fault i have a spare old xe loom you can have to try. got a few looms and ecus here.

all earts are on the fuel rail. 3 in total. i have a ecu on order from ebay so gonna try that when it finally arrives. if not it will have to be a new loom i think so i will let you know. :-)

ecu changed and exactly the same. rail removed and stripped. no blockages in there. aint got a clue what it could be???/

Could still be an earth. Try adding another to the main loom earth that runs the injectors. Does sound odd though.

Have you got any EML fault codes?

new loom has sorted it.squirting on all 4 pots. started strait up ( once i noticed fuel pump live wasnt connected). sort of makes 5 month of work seem wort it. thanks for the loom gaz. :-)

brilliant adam mate and ya welcome for the loom, had feeling like i said possibly a break in your loom , so pleased i cud of been a help to you and my loom saved the day! and your right its alwas worth the headache wen its up and running !
this was the reply i was wanting to hear as i knew that loom was fine as i removed it from cav gsi for carbs, top result mate.
