Removing driver side front door

Hi guys,

Very quick question please. I am having difficulty removing front door pin in order to take the door off. Can anyone suggest an easy way out how to remove the damn pin?

get a door pin tool, and yes, they are a pain to remove due to the fact that they need a strong hinge to hold the door on in the first place

Any motorfactors or halfrauds would have one?

decent motorfactors should have them. check the laser tools website, or ebay, or nip to a bodyshop & see if they'll do it for a tenner..

Best way ive found it to remove the front wing leave the door closed and the knock the pins out with a hammer and punch or a hammer and mole grips and once the pins are out its a lot easier to just lift the door off insted of propping it up with a jack or so

Just remember to disconnect any wires (leecy windows etc) before you remove it . makes life that little bit easier lol
