fitted a panel bin lid k&n air filter today to the nova, just wondering if the fuel pixture will need tweeking atall? :thumb:

its been on for barely any time at all and your already asking questions!

i'd say no, all its allowing is better air flow into the carb.

ps-my "VW hardcore" mate who hates novas admitted yours was a brilliant example...

Noo.

Even (I find) bolt on filters don't require a tweak in mixture.

haha, at least the feckers dead!
started it up after youd gone and you cae hear it does make a difference! just had to get the bugger to fit nice and tight lol

Technically then, yes, if by "better" you mean "more"

But in practice no. K&N filters make sod all performance difference tbh (hence no requirement to adjust the mixture), just a different noise. And noise requires no engine tuning lol
