Just a few snaps from the absolutely sodden Sunday last, thought I'd share a mixture from the day.

The cars even look low budget this year. Good pics though.

Plato Shot: ISO100 | 170mm | F/10 | 1/80sec
Depending on sunlight, I was panning between 60th and 160th all day.
I am capable of tight panning down to 50th, however I don't like that style of shot due to it looking too blurred

anyone notice the shattered glass on the passenger front window of Johnsons Astra MK4 as a result of his earlier collision with O'Neill in his Integra
Suprised they use glass, and not polycarb... that said am I right in thinking they have to weigh at least 1450kgs?
aye theres a min weight, or is it that they couldnt get a poly for it so used a std one?

nice pics mate it was very wet me and jen got soaked but was a very good day i did look out for you as jen spotted your wife walking past us
As the others have said, as ever exemplary photography Olly:). Truly excellent work throughout and I'd like to thank you since they are some of the best side on shots I've seen showing clearly the type of rear wings they are currently using and how they have them fixed on and set-up. I've been trying to decide if I should fit a rear wing and how to go about it. Those pics have proved very useful - cheers :thumb:
I know rear spoilers can look gash on Novas cos of their Max Power reputation but I feel its a mod well worth exploring especially in stripped out track novas that can be very light at the back.
Anyone tried such mods and got any useful effects on track?

I'm quite annoyed with myself that I couldn't be arsed to walk across to the pits to take some up close and personal shots, however I really had the ump with the bad weather, I was freezing cold, and soaking wet lol
Anymore of this Astra?

Try using Flickr, doesn't seem as though it messes with the pixelation etc at all from what I can tell

If I remember correctly Olly uses a variant of the Nikon D3, and a D300.

Well remember Dan, D3 with a 80-200 F2.8 lens was used here.
Altho just selling it to purchase a 70-200 F2.8 VR :D
Here is a 1280 x 800 version for ya, for those widescreen peeps
Hope the quality has remained again this time!

Have you tried re-sizing before uploading to photobucket? I always get it below 800pixies using picture manager or something better, then photobucket doesn't ruin it when you upload :)
