Is it worth getting a flat type one ? mines got the pot type fitted at the moment, How heavy are they both ?

hey jayme iirc they are around these weights
pot type - 9.5 kg
flat type - 6.5 kg
ive weighed a few even weighed two flat ones at same time to compare as felt diffrent and one was nearly 1/3 of kg heavier and none had been touched must just be how it came from factory.
had a lightend one before wich weighed 5kg but have seen them as light as 3.5kg now.
Iirc the clutches are different mate, something to consider if you make the change

clutches are different. if its just a xe you have the flat will be suffice.

ive got a new clutch , and i got the wrong one ooops!ive got the one for a flat flywheel which i though was a better !

ive got a heavy pot one at the moment ! so ill be getting the flat one !

so you have to change the flywheel to use the flat type clutch
